Every night I see her waiting for me, with her arms wide open.
With a fresh smile, calling for me, and suddenly dreams are broken.
I try hard recollecting what she would have whispered in my ears,
Awaken all night trying still very hard, weaken within wiping my tears.
You say let go of her, live in present and bury the dead past under.
When I am trying to catch hold of every moment, we spent together.
When I am awake she is forever away, in my sleep she is a nap away,
For that my friend I will remain in slumber to be with her in a way.
I live when I sleep like a dead, to find her around with me always,
Misery it is when I am awake, so I went on to sleep days and days.
Living fear in my mind, weak of mine sometimes screams.
What if you don’t see her anymore in your dreams?
What if her face hazes out with time, it is a hounding fear as it seems,
To keep her alive fresh as always, I am stitching my broken dreams.
